Majorda beach is a beautiful tranquil beach. The sands of this beach are not as white as that in Colva and other beaches in the South of Goa. Wood carving, Kashmiri handicrafts, Jewellery, Silks are available in the several shops in and around Majorda. This is more of a relaxed and quiet beach.

Mae De Deus Church

This is one of the major tourist attractions of Majorda. This church was built in 1588. It was destroyed and rebuilt in 1739. Every winter, Majorda is a happening place because it hosts the famous Goa Christmas carnival.

Follow State 34 till Gharli. Take National Highway 4A to Margao - Ponda Highway in Loutolim. Follow Margao - Ponda Highway to Loutolim. Continue on Margao - Ponda Highway. Take Arlem Bypass and Majorda-Nuvem road to  Majorda beach marg in Majorda. This route goes through Tumakuru, Hiriyur, Chitradurga, Davangere, Ranebennur, Haveri and Dharward.

Bus

Mysore to Madgaon by bus is a 15 hour journey. There are direct buses from Mysuru to Madgaon. Majorda beach is 10 km from Madgaon bus station.

Car / Taxi

Mysore to Majorda beach distance is 575 km. It is approximately a 11 hour journey. From Mysore, Take State Highway 17 and State Highway 7 to National Highway 48 in Byrapura. Take slight right onto Channarayapatna Arasikere road. Follow National Highway 206 and National Highway 17 to Colva beach road in Mulgao. Take MDR 43 to Majorda beach road in Majorda. This route goes through Krishnarajpete, Channarayapattana, Pattanagere, Tarikere, Shivamogga, Sagara, Honnavara, Kumta, Ankola, Karwar and Canacona.
