Details

Vagator beach is one of the most beautiful beaches of North Goa. Infact, it is the northernmost beach of Bardez Taluk of Goa. The surrounding red cliffs is a unique feature of this beach. It is popular among western backpackers. Vagator beach is divided into two parts. One is called the Big Vagator Beach and the other is called Little Vagator beach.

This beach is much more calmer than other beachs. The place is covered with cliffs overlooking the beach. There are a couple of fresh water springs nearby this beach.

Ozran beach

This beach is also popularly called as Little Vagator beach. The sunset is particularly intriguing here. There are a couple of stay options at this beach.

There are trains available from Bangalore to Goa. Yeshwantpur Vasco Express(Train no: 17309) and MAS Vasco Express(Train no:17311) run from Bangalore to Karmali. From Karmali, Vagator is 14 km away.

Car / Taxi

Distance from Bangalore to Vagator beach is 606 km. From Bangalore, connect to Tumkur road. Follow National Highway 4 to State Highway 34 in Dharwad. This route goes through Tumkur, Hiriyur, Chitradurga, Davangere, Harihara. Follow State Highway 34 to Garli. Drive from National Highway 4 A to Guirim. Take Mapusa - Anjuna - Chapora and Vagator Beach Rd to reach Vagator beach.
