Bhagamandala is the place of confluence of three rivers namely Kaveri, Kanika and Sujyothi which is a subterranean river. It is a pilgrim center and also a great picnic spot. There are steps which lead to Triveni Sangama. It is a common practice to visit Bhagamandala first before going to Talakaveri. Just beside Sangama, there is the beautiful Bhagandeshwara temple.
Sangama is a great place to take a holy dip. During monsoons, the currents are very strong when swimming is not ideal. It is enjoyable during post monsoons and summer when water levels are low and it is safe to swim.
Bhagandeshwara temple houses three deities inside. The temple is dedicated to Lord Bhagandeshwara. There are idols of Lord Subramanya and Lord Vishnu inside the temple premises. This place has great spiritual significance. The temple also provides meals to pilgrims every afternoon.
