Ghati Subramanya temple is an ancient Hindu temple with a recorded history of over 600 years. It is located near Tubagere, Doddaballapur. The prime diety of the templete Lord Subramanya is found together with Lord Narasimha. Ghorpade rules of Sandur first developed this place.
It is popularly believed that childless couple, on performing a ritual here are blessed with children. The ritual includes installing snake idols near the temple.
The main idol of the temple is said to be "Swayambhu" meaning that it is self originated and no one actually carved the idol. The idol of Lord Subramanya is placed east, but the idol of Lord Narasimba is placed behind to the west. Lord Narasimha can be seen through a strategically placed mirror. Architecturally, the temple is mostly Dravidian. Free lunch is offered to all the devotees.
