Maravanthe beach is considered to be one of the most beautiful beaches for Karnataka. It offers a spectacular view. The National Highway 66 runs along the beach and there is also the Souparnika river which flows on the other side of the road. It is one of the cleanest beaches.
The beach is beautiful with white sand. It is an ideal place to spend some time on the shores and listen to the music of the winds. There is also the National Highway 66 which runs along the beach. This place forms a popular stopover for vehicles plying on that road.
The temple is located near the Maravanthe beach and is the home to three dieties. Varahaswamy temple has an idol of Lord Varaha.
