Tadiandamol is the highest peak in Kodagu District with a height of 1748 m. The place is popular among trekkers and nature enthusiasts. Nalaknad palace is located near the foothills of this peak. The peak encompasses thick forests and wildlife.
Tadiandamol is one of the most popular trekking routes in Kodagu. The altitude and surroundings create breath taking views of the surroundings. There are two ways to scale the Tadiandamol peak. One route is the palace route and the other is through the Honney valley route. Trekking difficult in both cases is moderate. It takes approximately 3 to 5 hours to scale the peak.
This temple was built in 1792 by Dodda Veerarajendra. It is a two storey structure. It was a safe structure for kings during invasions. Now, it is a protected structure.

This route goes though Ramnagara, Channapatna, Mandya, Mysore, Hunsur and Virajpet.
